A LONGBRIDGE man has appeared in court charged with two counts of raping a woman.
John Dennis, of Tollhouse Close, appeared at Birmingham Magistrates Court on September 13 in connection with a rape in West Heath last Monday (September 9).
The 41-year-old was arrested by West Midlands Police's Public Protection Unit last Wednesday (September 11), and was also charged with the historical rape of a woman in West Heath in May 2010.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Birmingham Crown Court on January 7, 2014.
