EIGHT bottles of spirits worth £400 and £445 in cash were stolen when a Rubery pub was burgled between 11.40pm last Thursday (September 5) and 7.40am on Friday (September 6).
A total of £250 was also caused to the fire doors at the back of the New Rose and Crown, New Road, after the thieves forced them to gain access to the building.
The money was taken from a gaming machine, pool table and jukebox which had their cash boxes ripped out.
A till was damaged, with £10 being taken from there, four bottles of cider worth £14 were taken from a fridge and a CCTV recorder was also stolen.
It is thought the incident could have happened at around 3.30am.
