The 34-year-old was arrested in Kidderminster this morning (Thursday) on suspicion of robbery and kidnap and remains in police custody following the incident off the M42 on August 15.
Two Birmingham men have already appeared in court on August 19 charged with robbing and kidnapping the driver of the lorry involved. Leon Bell, aged 37 and from Greenvale Avenue in Sheldon, and John Gerard Wall, aged 49 and of Bromford Court in Washwood Heath, were arrested shortly after the robbery.
Both were remanded in custody to appear before Worcester Crown Court on November 25.
