A MAN accused of causing the death of a Barnt Green woman by careless and inconsiderate driving has been cleared of the charges at Aylesbury Crown Court.
The verdict, relating to Daniel Mitchell, came after a three-day trial.
Mollie Haines died last August following the crash on the M40 motorway near High Wycombe.
The 73-year-old, a former president of Blackwell Ladies Golf Club, was on her way to visit one of her daughters and grandchildren who lived in Kingston-upon-Thames.
A family tribute at the time, issued through West Mercia Police, described her as the 'focal point of her family' and a 'friend to many'.
