A BROMSGROVE bed and breakfast owner and artist is holding an exhibition in her garden tomorrow (Saturday) as she bids to raise £1,000 for The Brain Tumour Charity.
Ros Grant will be displaying her work, alongside pieces by other Worcestershire artists, including Philip C Adams and Sandy O’Connor, who created the giant bronze gorilla at Webbs a few years ago. There will be 60 pieces in total, which will also be for sale.
The event will take place between 12midday and 5pm at Wellington Lodge, Wellington Road and admission, which includes tea or coffee and home-made cakes, is £5.
Ros said: “There is some really good artistic talent locally and, a lot of the time, their works have not be seen.
“The standard of work is very high and needs to be showcased and tomorrow’s event will do just that.
“Everyone is welcome - we want as many people to come along as possible to enjoy a nice cuppa and a piece of cake, see these fantastic pieces of artwork and raise funds for a very good cause.”
