AIR CADETS are flying high after receiving £10,000 from the Big Lottery Fund.
The money will be used to buy new equipment and kit for Rubery based 479 Squadron's equipment bank.
The bank provides free kit for cadets to use to ensure they can take part in any squadron activity and remove the financial burden from parents.
Cadet ?? Raynor said: "Some of the equipment for Duke of Edinburgh Expeditions can be quite expensive and we are lucky at our squadron that we can loan the kit when we need it. Air Cadets is the best thing I have ever done and I would recommend it to anyone."
Anyone interested in joing the cadets should email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 0121 460 1170 Monday to Wednesday, 7pm to 9.30pm.
