A TEENAGER is donating some of her hair to make wigs for cancer patients.
Molly Winter is preparing to have at least seven inches of her locks cut off.
The 13-year-old, who delivers the Standard in Hanbury, will also raise around £300 for Cancer Research in the process.
After watching family members affected by cancer and seeing children suffering with the disease on Facebook, Molly researched ways she could help online and came up with the idea.
Mum Rebecca said: “At the moment she has long hair that goes past her waist and she has decided to have at least seven inches cut off it and send it off to help make a wig for cancer patients.
“She decided she could make a difference to children less fortunate than herself.”
