A CHARITY five-a-side football tournament will be held in Rubery tomorrow (Saturday) in memory of local girl Nicola Hurlbutt died of meningitis 15 years ago.
Tomorrow would have been football fan Nicola's 30th birthday, so it will be a poignant time for her friends and family.
The tournament starts at 10am at Holywell Lane Leisure Centre and entry will be £2 per player.
All funds will go to the Meningitis Research Foundation.
Then, in the evening, there will be a party at 7pm at Rubery Social Club.
Tickets for that event - which features a band, DJ and raffle, is £3 for adults and free for children.
