Men charged with robbing delivery driver in Hollywood

TWO men have been charged with robbing a delivery driver in Hollywood.

The men, one in his 20s and from Highters Heath in Birmingham, and the other in his 30s from Alvechurch, answered police bail on Friday (August 16) after being charged.

Police had been investing the incident since last December when the delivery driver parked outside a house on Hollywood Lane to drop off a parcel.

He closed the back door to his van and was pushed to the floor before a man took his keys and drove off in his van.

The van contained a large number of parcels and two mobile phones belonging to the driver as well as a sat nav.

Both men are due to appear before Redditch magistrates' on September 3.
