A CHARITY fund-raising group in Stoke Prior has donated £5,000 to the Midlands Air Ambulance.
The cash was collected from a number of events held by Crossroad in conjunction with the Ewe and Lamb pub, including champagne breakfasts and an animal six-mile walk which takes place every October.
This latest round of fund-raising takes the total collected for the cause to £50,000 in the last 15 years.
Terry Murphy, the co-founder of Crossroad, said: “Everyone involved is so proud to have reached the £50,000 milestone for Midlands Air Ambulance and our recent £5,000 donation has been the icing on the cake.”
Members recently handed over the cash to the Midlands Air Ambulance’s regional fund-raising manager Annie Newell at the Strensham airbase.
The Crossroad charity walk, which starts from the Ewe and Lamb, will take place on October 6.
