ALL and Sundry’s production of Calendar Girls takes place from Wednesday (March 20) to next Saturday (March 23) at Redditch's Palace Theatre.
The show is based on the true story of a Women’s Institute (WI) which created a nude calendar to raise funds for Leukaemia Research, in memory of one of the member’s husband’s, John, who lost his battle with the disease.
Director Neale McGrath said: “We couldn’t believe how many of our members were willing to take their kit off.
“Seriously, it was great to see so many beautiful ladies who really wanted to take part in this fantastic piece,” he added.
The show, along with others being put on locally and nationally, is part of a Guinness World Record attempt to stage as many productions of the stage play in the UK in one calendar year.
All and Sundry have also produced a commemorative calendar and programme featuring members of the cast. They will be on sale at the show.
Performances start at 7.30pm each evening, with an added matinee at 2.30pm next Saturday (March 23).
Tickets, which are £12 (£11 concessions) for the evening shows and £11 (£10 concessions) for the matinee, are available by calling 01527 65203 or at www.redditchpalacetheatre.co.uk.
