AN INQUEST has been opened following the death of a Bromsgrove man found in woodland near Redditch.
Concerns were raised for Phillip Randles, 43, after he went missing on Tuesday (March 19).
West Mercia Police confirmed they were alerted to his disappearance around 9pm and, after conducting a short search, came across his car parked in a lay-by on Black Lake Lane, in Upper Bentley.
Officers found Mr Randles nearby in the woodland at 11.30pm.
A spokeswoman from West Mercia Police said his death was not considered suspicious at this stage.
An inquest was opened today (Thursday) and adjourned awaiting reports.
