YOUNGSTERS at Sidemoor Pre-School, which is based at the Pear Tree Children’s Centre, Broad Street, are celebrating after having a new redesigned garden to play in.

The project, which includes a new outdoor classroom, grassed areas and play panels with games on, was funded by a grand draw held last summer to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

Manager Toni Cooke said the garden would benefit all the children in the group and be a great place to host the family events organised by the children’s centre.

“We would like to say a big thank you to all the local businesses that supported us by providing prizes and donations of money towards this project,” she added.

A celebratory open day to launch the new garden will be held between 10am and 12midday on April 13.

Any prospective parents are also welcome to go along and see what the group has to offer.
