MADCAP Theatre Productions are back at Bromsgrove’s Artrix tomorrow (Saturday) with ‘Little Grimley’s Troubles Tripled’ by David Tristram.
The fast-paced, funny and slightly ludicrous comedy, directed by Bromsgrove-based Emma Leigh, centres around members of the Little Grimley Amateur Dramatic Society trying to keep its group alive.
They decide sex is the only way to sell tickets, causing the scandal of the decade in their village and even attempt a military-style operation to bring down a rival drama group.
MadCaps artistic director Emma said: “It’s a fantastic play and we are thrilled to be staging our opening night at our local theatre before we take it to venues across the Midlands and the UK.”
Tickets, which are £12 (£10 concessions), are available by calling 01527 577330 or visiting www.artrix.co.uk.
