A BROMSGROVE woman appeared in court today (Tuesday) facing charges of arranging for a man to perform sex acts on a child.

Sheena Gorton, 33, of Beech Road, Sidemoor was accused of four offences in total alleged to have taken place between November 2011 and December last year.

She faces two charges of arranging for 31-year-old Paul Price, of Nant Eirin, Porth, Glamorgan, to perform a sex act on a child under 13 years of age.

Gorton's other two charges under the Serious Crime Act relate to taking an indecent picture of a child and sending it to Price.

She was granted conditional bail and was instructed by magistrates not to have any un-supervised contact with a child under the age of 16 unless accompanied by someone approved by child services.

Gorton was also ordered not to make any contact with Price either directly or indirectly through someone else.

Price appeared alongside her at Redditch Magistrates Court on Tuesday (March 5).

He has also been charged of two counts of trying to arrange and intending to perform a sex act on a child under 13-years-old, as well as one count of requesting Gorton to take and send him an indecent image of a child.

All offences relate to the same period of time.

Price was given the same bail conditions but must also attend a police station once-a-week.

He was also told he could not stay at any address where there was a child under 16 living.

Both must appear at Redditch Magistrates Court again on May 1 when the case will be committed to Worcester Crown Court.
