Hi: 23° Lo:10° 7 day

BUS users who travel on the 318 are being urged to pick up their new bus timetables after changes to the route came into force yesterday (Monday).
The service, operating between Bromsgrove Railway Station, Bromsgrove town centre, Catshill, Belbroughton, Hagley and Stourbridge, has undergone alterations which mean it will no longer serve the town's Morrisons supermarket - the Aston Fields section of the route has been revised.
The other changes include most buses leaving ten minutes earlier than they did previously, although there are no alterations to the first bus to leave Bromsgrove and the last ones to leave the town and Stourbridge.
From Bromsgrove Bus Station, the first 318 goes at 7.35am Monday to Friday and 9.41am on Saturday and the last one is at 5.45pm.
From Stourbridge, the first one is at 7.35am Monday to Friday and 8.35am on a Saturday. The last one from there is at 4.45pm.
The route is part-funded by Worcestershire County Council and Coun John Smith OBE, the authority's cabinet member with responsibility for transport, said the changes were implemented in response to requests from users.
"It's so important that Worcestershire residents and businesses have access to public transport that's relevant to their needs, and I'm pleased to see service operators revising services in response to the needs of passengers."
