A GREY Audi A4 S Line Quattro, worth £15,000, has been stolen during a car-key burglary in Bromsgrove.

The car, which had four doors and the registration number BD09 ZWS, was taken from outside a property in Aspens Way at some point between 9pm last night (Thursday) and 7am today (Friday).

The burglars broke in through the back door and took the key from the kitchen.

Nothing else was taken, but damage was sustained during the break-in.

It is believed the thieves drove the Audi off towards Birmingham.

Det Sgt Ed Slough of Bromsgrove CID appealed for anyone who witnessed the incident or who had any information to contact him on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

“It would appear the car was the thieves’ target," he said.

And he added that, although this property was secure, residents should ensure the doors and windows of their homes were properly locked and keys and valuables were not left on display.
