A POIGNANT play by Tennessee Williams will be brought to the intimate surroundings of the Palace Theatre’s studio space this month.

All and Sundry are set to perform The Glass Menagerie tonight and tomorrow (February 22 and 23) at 7.45pm and Sunday (February 24) at 7.15pm.

It follows the story of Amanda, who has been abandoned by her husband, her daughter Laura - a shy young woman with a limp - and son Tom - who has the soul of a poet but a job in a warehouse.

When a gentleman caller finally arrives, Laura and Amanda become more hopeful than they ever have been, but will it end in Laura’s romantic illusions being shattered?

Tickets costing £10 (£9 concessions) are available from www.redditchpalacetheatre.co.uk or by calling 01527 65203.
