Hi: 9° Lo:3° 7 day

A BROMSGROVE couple were able to celebrate their love of each other and their love of pizza at the same time when they received a Valentine's Day surprise from Papa John's.
James Morris and Michelle Griffin were presented with custom-made heart shaped pizzas and were serenaded by the soothing sounds of a violinist to help make their Valentine’s night one to remember.
The pair also received a bottle of bubbly and chocolates as part of the prize won by James who entered the pizza parlour's national competition.
James said: “I entered because I wanted to surprise Michelle with something totally different on Valentine’s Day, and I knew that she would not suspect anything when the pizza delivery arrived.
“It was a fantastic treat and we had a great evening in thanks to Papa John’s.
"The violinist was just the icing on the cake – or the topping on the pizza perhaps.”
Michelle posted on our Facebook page: "I can't believe I won this. Thanks to Papa John's Bromsgrove, Jo the violinist, Dave the delivery guy and of course my lovely fiancée."
Tony Kular, manager of Papa John’s Bromsgrove, said: “With Valentine’s Day falling on a Thursday, we expected many people to stay at home and order in, so we thought why not offer one lucky couple a little extra from the Papa.
“We are so pleased that James and Michelle enjoyed our VIP Valentine delivery and hope that it marks the start of many happy Valentine’s Days together.”
