A BROMSGROVE man has been jailed for fraud offences including illegally selling a car for £25,000.

Anthony Pullen, 45, who lived at Stratford Gardens, was sentenced to two years in prison at Worcester Crown Court on Tuesday (February 5).

At previous hearings he pleaded guilty to crimes under the Fraud Act, Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Standards Regulations and the Theft Act.

West Midlands Police and Worcestershire Regulatory Services (WRS) investigated Mr Pullen after an innocent member of the public bought the car from his Wychbold based company Wych Marques Limited.

However, Pullen had leased the car and had no right to sell it.

The investigation revealed he had sold another vehicle in the same way.
