Prison nurse charged with supplying a Class B drug

A NURSE at Hewell Prison will appear in court charged with supplying a Class B drug.

Joanne Ashton-Phillips, from Alvechurch and who works as a nursing sister at the prison in Tardebigge, is alleged to have supplied a quantity of a controlled Class B drug between May 1 2011 and June 30 2011.

The 39-year-old is due to appear before Redditch Magistrates on Wednesday (February 13).
