FOUR staff members from Bromsgrove and Droitwich were among dozens of the county's fire staff commended at a special awards night.
The Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service celebration took place at the Guildhall in Worcester.
Neal Jones from Bromsgrove Fire Station was awarded for completing his firefighter development programme (NVQ Level 3) and Samarjit Butalia, also from the station received his certificate for finishing the trainee firefighter programme.
Nathan Haste from Droitwich Fire Station was recognised for the same honour, while Natalie Beeby from the Droitwich training centre achieved her Level 7 diploma in human resource management.
Chief fire officer Mark Yates, who presented the certificates, said: "Everyone who was presented with a certificate has dedicated a great deal of time and effort to their learning and self-development, often alongside their main role with the service.
"They deserve to be recognised for their commitment and hard work."
