Murder probe launched after HMP Hewell inmate dies

FOUR men have been charged with murdering a prisoner at HMP Hewell.

Adnan Rafiq, 25 and from Moseley, was found with serious head injuries at the Tardebigge based prison on Monday.

He was taken to hospital in a critical condition and died on Thursday evening.

Four men were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and have now been charged with murder

Jahnel Faure, 28 from West Bromwich, Jermaine Christie, 27 of Birmingham and later Telford, Paul Coulter, 27 from Swansea and Barry Mundle, 34 and from Wolverhampton, will appear at Birmingham Crown Court on Tuesday.
