Hi: 23° Lo:14° 7 day

JEWELLERY and electrical items have been stolen from a Bromsgrove home after it was burgled in broad daylight.
The property on Stourbridge Road near Perryfields Road, was broken into through a rear access sometime between 9am and 4pm yesterday (Monday February 4).
As well as making a mess thieves got a way with a haul of items, some of which had sentimental value.
Jewellery which was taken included several expensive 'Pilgrim' designer pieces, a gold cross and watch belonging to the victim's grandmother, a white gold cross with diamonds on it, several watches including a Gucci one, a man's Garmin GPS watch and the victim's engagement ring.
The electrical belongings stolen were a Kindle Fire HD tablet, an Apple iPod in a blue penguin rubber case, a Kodak Easyshare tough digital camera, Panasonic camcorder, an Asus Notebook and a TomTom sat nav.
Det Con Tony Flannagan said: "As this is a busy road and the burglary happened during the daytime we are hoping someone may have seen the burglars in the area.
"It is always distressing for a homeowner to be burgled and often made worse when items of sentimental value are stolen, so we are eager to hear from anyone who may have information that can lead us to recovering the stolen items."
Anyone with any information should call Det Con Flannagan on 101 using incident reference 135-N-040213 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
