BROMSGROVE Tennis Club's Men's C team were in good form on the resumption of the league season as they overcame Ombersley A 3-1.

Jeth Tomlinson and Alex Willis teamed up to win both of their matches, firstly against Dieppe and Griffiths in three sets before defeating Barwell and Taylor in two sets.

The second pair of McGregor and Errington lost a close three-set match to Barwell and Taylor before having an easy win against Dieppe and Griffiths.

A lot now hinges on the final two games of the season with promotion remaining a possibility for the team.

THE C and D team teamed up to take on Cutnall Green in a hard fought friendly that saw five of the six rubbers decided by Championship tie-breaks.

Cutnall Green just shaded them to run out 4-2 winners overall but Bromsgrove performed well throughout and will have taken a number of positives from the competitive contest.

For Bromsgrove, McGregor and Niedzwiedz beat Taylor and Stanley whilst Tomlinson and Errington beat Moore and Russell.
