MORE than 200 people went along to the opening of the new Health Hub in Sidemoor yesterday (Wednesday).
The project, at 131 Perryfields Road, is a joint venture by between EPIC (Empowering People in Communities), based at The TRUNK, Redditch and Bromsgrove Clinical Commissioing Group and the Bromsgrove Partnership.
Visitors were able to find out more about the hub and what it offers to the local community, including help with diet, exercise, fitness and stop smoking services.
EPIC managing director Debbie Roberts said: “We had some really fantastic feedback from residents, local community members and partners.
“One person said that Sidemoor had been crying out for something like this to bring the community together - and I think that sums the hub’s role up perfectly.”
