CONCERNS are growing for the welfare of a missing man who was last seen in Bromsgrove more than a fortnight ago.

Police have renewed their appeal to trace 27-year-old Ben Butler whose last know whereabouts were at a home in Barnsley Hall Drive at 11.15am on December 30.

Ben, originally from Evesham, was due to go shopping and was expected to return to the house on Barnsley Hall Drive for 7pm that evening but has not been seen since.

He is white, 6ft 1ins tall and of slim build. He has short dark brown hair and a tattoo on his right arm. When he was last seen, Ben was wearing dark blue jeans, a black jacket, a light blue hooded top and black shoes. He also had a small backpack with him.

It is understood Ben is on various medication for health issues and will not have had access to his prescriptions since he went missing.

Ben has been missing before and has been found at various locations across the country.

Police believe he may be using public transport to get around.

Insp Sharon Cannings said: "We are worried Ben maybe sleeping rough and, as the weather has turned particularly cold this week, it obviously increases our concern for his health.

"As he is not taking his medication we are also worried that his health will be deteriorating with every further day that goes by.

"We are eager to hear from anyone who thinks they may have seen him either walking the streets or sleeping outside."

Anyone with any information on Ben's whereabouts should call 101 as soon as possible.
