BROMSGROVE and District Indoor Bowls Club will host the prestigious English Ladies u25s International Series of bowling finals in February.

The club feel honoured to have been chosen to host the event which will see teams from England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales all competing against each other in the highly anticipated international tournament.

The event will be opened by Bromsgrove District MP Sajid Javid at approximately 9am.

Cllr Michael Webb, whose portfolio covers leisure, said: “I think it is wonderful that a local club has been chosen to host this important event within the sport, especially as the club faced hardship when the building itself was damaged by flood waters earlier this year. A big well done to everyone involved and good luck to our team.”

The International Series of Bowling Finals will take place on February 9 and 10.
