Man arrested and bailed after domestic disturbance

A MAN in his 20s was arrested on suspicion of assault after an incident in St Godwald's Road, Aston Fields, just before 7.30pm on New Year's Eve (Monday, December 31).

Officers received reports of a domestic disturbance and the man was picked up a short time later near Bromsgrove Railway Station.

He was taken to Redditch Police Station for questioning in relation to the incident and was released on police bail, pending further inquiries, until January 19.
