TWO vehicles have been stolen after a car-key burglary on the Birmingham Road in Lickey End.

The incident, which happened between 10.30pm yesterday (Monday) and 6.45am on today (Tuesday), saw the thieves enter the house and take the two sets of car keys.

The vehicles taken, from a parking space behind the house, were a dark silver/grey Renault Megane, which had the registration SL06 EZM, and a red Ford Ka, with the registration X451 ERY.

As well as the cars, there was also a leather handbag taken, containing cigarettes and a red purse, which contained a debit card inside.

Det Con Jim Guinivan from Bromsgrove CID appealed for any witnesses or anyone with any information to call him on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

"The cars may have been dumped somewhere nearby or could be further afield, perhaps in the Birmingham area, so we would ask people to be on the look out and call us as soon as possible if you spot either of them," he added.
