HOMELESS animals at Bromsgrove’s Blue Cross Centre will be given a better Christmas, thanks to residents and staff at the town’s Wayside Care Home.
They have collected and donated three large stockings full pet food, toys, treats and biscuits, to the Catshill centre.
The goodies will be delivered to the Blue Cross by Pets as Therapy volunteer Rachel Jenkins and her bull mastif Harvey.
The home’s activities co-ordinator Sue Macfarlane said: “We wanted to do something for the unloved animals at Christmas, as it’s a time for giving to all creatures great and small.”
