Pair taken to hospital following crash near McDonald's

TWO motorists were taken to hospital following a car crash on a busy A road at rush hour.

The incident involved two vehicles which collided on the Bristol Road South near McDonald's in Longbridge on Friday (November 30)

West Midlands Ambulance Service were alerted at 4.53pm and dispatched two crews to the location, where both casualties, a man and a woman, were treated for back and neck injuries before being taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.

Fire crews also attended the scene to and made sure the road was safe for fellow motorists.
