WORK began on Monday (October 29) to transform Bromsgrove’s Ryland Centre.
The new-look centre will encompass a state-of-the-art gym, featuring cardio equipment, weights and training areas, along with a fitness dance studio to complement the athletics track, full-sized football pitch and four-court sports hall.
A new reception will also be added, as will a rest area.
Ryland Centre general manager Michelle Jones said there were exciting times ahead for the centre, which already had a great history of offering sports and activities to the local community.
“We are very excited about making improvements to the facility so that it can be used by more residents in Bromsgrove and the surrounding areas.”
She added the centre would be home to local clubs and provide activities for all ages, including netball, basketball, judo, athletics, football and badminton.
For more on the gym, go along to the New Road venue, visit www.rylandcentre.co.uk or follow the Ryland Centre on Twitter or Facebook.
