A SELECTION of bonfires and fireworks displays are being held across Bromsgrove and Rubery.
Friday (November 2), Bromsgrove Rugby Club's celebrations take place and will include hot food, additional bars and a night of family fun. Gates open at 6pm, the bonfire will be lit at 7.15pm and the firework display begins at 7.45pm.
Admission is £4 for adults, £2.50 for concessons and childrem (under 16) and free to under twos. Family tickets are £10 (for two adults and up to three children).
Also Friday (November 2), there will be a firework display and bonfire in Rubery at the Community and Leisure Centre, Holywell Lane.
The gates open at 6.30pm and among the other attractions will be children's entertainment, burgers, hotdogs and hot and cold drinks. No private fireworks or alcohol allowed.
Admission is £4 for adults and £3 for children.

The bonfire at Catshill Meadow on Saturday (November 3) will be lit at 6.30pm, with the fireworks at 7.15pm.
Admission is just £2 for adults, £1 for children and free for under fives.
Gates open at 5.30pm and volunteers are needed to help out - from building the bonfire on the day and clearing up afterwards to marshalling the crowds during the event and being on the gate.

Saturday (November 3), the annual bonfire and firework display will be held at Sanders Park.
As well as the bonfire, which will be lit at 7pm, and the fireworks display, there will also be a funfair and live music from one of the UK's best Abba tribute acts - Abbadabbadoo - and local singer Keri Whip.
Admission costs £5 for adults and £3 for children (free for under twos). A family ticket costing £14, for two adults and two children, is also available.
Tickets are available at the Customer Service Centre and Primrose Hospice, as well as from the high street stall in the town centre today (Friday) and tomorrow (Saturday) leading up to the event.
A bang-free bonfire night is being held at Bromsgrove's Avoncroft Museum from 6pm to 8pm on Monday (November 5).
It is aimed at those who love celebrating Guy Fawkes' night, but do not relish the loud noises.
There will be the screening of a firework display, rather than a real one, which will be accompanied by music.
There will, however, be a real bonfire for visitors to warm themselves around, along with a sing-song and sparklers.
Avoncroft director Simon Carter said, with 25 historic buildings on site, the museum could not risk having real fireworks on site, but there had been a positive response to the event.
Admission to the event, which includes a steaming cup of hot chocolate, is £4 per person and £2 for under fives.
