Hi: 16° Lo:4° 7 day

CHARISMATIC characters, colourful costumes and sumptuous storytelling are all part of a show marking the 200th anniversary of the birth of one of England’s greatest novelists.
Dombey and Son by Charles Dickens is brought to life by the Red Dog Theatre Company at 7.30pm on Wednesday (October 31) at Artrix in Bromsgrove as part of a national tour.
For Dombey, money and the power it brings are the only gods worth worshipping. But can money really buy him everything he dreams of?
It is a tale of pride and passion, generosity and greed and of the human foibles and the society which breeds them.
Visit www.artrix.co.uk or call 01527 577330 for tickets costing £12 (£10 concessions).
