THE MAN who died in a motorbike crash in Northfield at around 12.15am yesterday morning (Thursday) has been named as 22-year-old Andrew Buck from Druids Heath.
The red Honda involved, which had the registration VFR 750, had been reported stolen from a burglary in Halesowen the day before and the rider was not wearing a helmet when the bike left the road.
Insp Mark Watkins, from the Collision Investigation Unit, said: "A young man has lost his life following this tragic incident and we are looking to piece together the events that led to the collision.
"I would ask anybody that can provide any information regarding either the theft of the motorcycle or its movement up to the time of the collision to contact officers at the regional collision investigation unit on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
