Police are probing crash in Romsley

POLICE are trying to determine what happened during a crash when a driver failed to stop at the scene in Romsley.

It happened on August 29 at 1pm on Bromsgrove Road, at the junction of Dayhouse Bank, near the Manchester Inn.

A small blue car, possibly a Renault Megane or a Honda Civic, pulled out of Dayhouse Bank and was involved in the crash with two other cars - a blue Volvo S40 and a silver Peugeot 307.

The wonan driving the unknown car stopped briefly, but drove off towards Romsley village.

Both vehicles left behind were damaged, but, luckily no one was injured.

Officers want to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident and can offer any further details about the unknown vehicle.

The driver of the car is also being urged to come forward to help officers understand exactly how the collision came about.
