Motorcyclist in his 60s hurt in Bromsgrove crash

A MOTORCYCLIST in his 60s has been taken to hospital after a crash on the Redditch Road in Stoke Heath this afternoon (Tuesday).

The incident, involving the motorbike and a car, happened at around 1.30pm.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesperson said the patient suffered an arm fracture and injuries to his lower leg.

After being immobilised, using a neck collar, spinal board and leg splint, he was given pain relief and taken to Redditch's Alexandra Hospital for further assessment and treatment.
