RESIDENTS still have time to have their say on plans to slim down the number of councillors in Bromsgrove.
The Local Government Boundary Commission for England is currently examining a proposal to cut the number of representatives on Bromsgrove District Council by eight to leave just 31 councillors.
The commission has indicated it intends to implement the plan but wants comments from residents about how new ward boundaries should be drawn up to accommodate the changes so each councillor roughly represents the same number of voters.
The closing date for comments is August 28. Visit www.lgbce.org.uk/all-reviews/west-midlands/worcestershire/bromsgrove-fer for more information. Initial recommendations are set to be published in November.
