GROWERS from across the country are set to descend on Wychbold this weekend as they compete for top spot in the National Begonia Show.
Webbs Garden Centre is hosting the contest for the first time which will feature fabulous displays including single flowers up to nine inches across and exhibits of multi-coloured foliage begonias.
There will be 32 classes ranging from championship through to novice celebrating begonias of all varieties.
George Rushforth, show secretary, said: “Our annual show really is a dazzling spectacular of colour revealing begonias in all their glory. We have lots of enthusiasts and growers exhibiting and it is an excellent way to learn more about these beautiful plants.”
The show takes place between 2pm to 5pm tomorrow (Saturday) and 10am and 4pm on Sunday.
