A MAN stole a purse from the Primrose Hospice after posing as an alarm engineer.

He ran towards the train station after being challenged outside the cancer support centre on St Godwald’s Road about 3.30pm last Thursday (August 2).

The man who tricked his way into the office was described as white, 6ft tall, slim with short dark hair. He was aged in either his 20s or 30s and was wearing dark trousers, a grey polo shirt and a light grey checked jacket.

Police have issue an appeal to find the offender as well as a woman who used a stolen credit card to withdraw cash in Natwest bank in Droitwich half an hour later.

Anyone with any more information should call police on 101 using the reference 420s020812.
