Hi: 20° Lo:11° 7 day

A BROMSGROVE bank worker is chasing his dream of a career in the music industry and has released the first song from his latest project.
Simon Lacks currently works in Halifax and has even appeared in one of the company’s adverts, but his true passion remains music.
Now the 27-year-old has released No Poetry, the first of four singles off his conceptual EP called Heinz-sight.
Simon said: “The EP tells a story of a part of my life. It comes from a mixture of hindsight because I wish I could of done some things different in my life, and my grandad Heinz who past away when I was young.”
He is set to perform his new material at the Morton Stanley Festival in Redditch on Friday, August 17 for which entry is free. No Poetry can also be downloaded free at soundcloud.com/heinz-sight/no-poetry or by following ‘Heinz-sight’ on Facebook.
