BROMSGROVE Sporting’s Supporters Society are to put their skills to good use this season by assisting the matchday administration of the club’s Youth Team.

Society Secretary Andy Parr steps into the unenviable shoes of previous secretary Dave Stephens, but is confident the Society will provide significant support to the club this season which will allow club Directors more time to address other areas to help the club reach it’s goal of financial self-sufficiency.

“We believe the Youth Team is a vital part of the club’s aims and provides a high standard of competition for local u18s to test their skills,” said Society Chair Tracey Unwin.

“Which is why we felt our resources would provide the most valuable assistance to the club in providing matchday administration.”

The Society are already recruiting members to help out with the large number of tasks associated and are hopeful of an excellent season for the town’s youngsters.

The Society and the Youth Team await publication of their fixtures to start their first game of the season in the Midland Floodlight Youth League Premier Division South which begins again with fixtures during the week commencing August 13.

THE first team have discovered their opening fixtures for their first season in the Premier Division of the Midland Combination.

They begin with a trip to Atherstone Town on August 4 before hosting Brocton three days later in their first home game of the season.

Pelsall Villa then visit the Victoria Ground on August 11 before the Rouslers’ busy start to the season continues at Racing Club Warwick on August 14.

Home games follow against Lichfield City and Nuneaton Griff before August is completed with a home game against Earlswood Town (subject to Earlswood’s involvement in the FA Cup) on August 27.

FAIRFIELD Villa begin their Division One campaign at home against Greenhill on August 4 before heading to Aston three days later.

Home games against Stretton Eagles and Chelmsley Town follow on August 11 and 18 before Paul Oakes’ men head to Archdale 73 on August 25. A home game against Knowle on Bank Holiday Monday completes their August fixtures.

DROITWICH Spa also kick-off at home, with Aston the visitors on August 4.

A trip to Feckenham on August 9 is followed by home games against Phoenix United (August 11), Cadbury Athletic (August 18) and Chelmsley Town (August 25). Spa round off August with a trip to Archdale 73 on August 27.
