A STASH of stolen items possibly belonging to Bromsgrove residents has been seized by police.

Commemorative coins and jewellery are also among the possessions recovered following the arrest of three men on suspicion of a burglary in Slideslow on July 11.

The hoard was discovered by officers during a search of a property in Handsworth and they suspect items could belong to people throughout the Midlands.

Bromsgrove detectives have released several images of the items in the hope of tracking down the rightful owners and are urging people to contact them to claim anything which they believe has been stolen from them.

Det Con Victoria Collier, from Bromsgrove CID, said: "Unfortunately, these outstanding items have not been reported to us as stolen or been property marked in anyway and we are keen to reunite them with their owners.

"I am want hear from anyone who recognises any of the items. It is possible that you may have unknowingly been the victim of a burglary and we would need to investigate that offence.

"Although items can be clearly identified from the pictures police are requesting anyone claiming them will also have to provide specific detail proving ownership.

"This may be a scratch, an engraving, proof of how you acquired it or a photograph you may have of it."

Anyone wanting to claim any of the property shown should call Det Con Collier on 0300 333 3000 quoting reference 204S 110712. Visit www.Bromsgrovestandard.co.uk for more information.
