A TRACTOR driver suffered broken bones in his neck after swerving to avoid a car and hitting a tree on Copyholt Lane last Monday (July 23).
The victim was taken to hospital for surgery following the incident which occurred around 2pm when the tractor avoided a silver Mercedes.
Officers believe the car was driven by a woman who then carried on driving when the tractor left the road. They are eager to speak to witnesses and to the driver of the car.
PC Carita Caldicott from Bromsgrove police station said: "She may not realise what happened to the tractor after she drove away.
"She has failed to stop at the scene of an accident and we need to speak to her in order to fully understand the circumstances of the collision," she added
Anyone with information is asked to call PC Caldicott on 0300 333 3000, quoting 358S 230712.
