TALENTED year nine pupils from South Bromsgrove High were triumphant at this year's poetry slam.
South came out on top out of 17 Worcestershire schools and tasted success for the second year running at the annual event held at Artrix earlier this month.
The winning poem was performed by a group of six students, viewed a person's life metaphorically through the eyes of a SatNav.
Miss Smith who had worked with them said: "They were awesome, funny and brought some in the audience to tears. We are all so proud of them."
Now the school is setting their sights on next year's event bidding for a hatrick of wins in the Poetry Slam.
