BROMSGROVE Sporting’s promotion to the Premier Division of the Midland Combination was confirmed at the league’s AGM on Monday night.

Speaking about the news, fixture secretary Dave Stephens said: “We were pretty certain that this was going to happen but there is some relief that our promotion is now confirmed.

“It means that we can now get on with preparations for the new campaign and it gives manager Keith Draper the go-ahead to consolidate his squad.”

Sporting have also announced the admission prices for next season with adult tickets costing £5 and £2.50 for concessions (OAPs and u16s).

Season tickets are also now available from the ground (call 01527 876949) ranging from £130 to be a vice-president, £80 for adults and £35 for concessions. A family season ticket for one adult and one child costs £110, for an adult and two youngsters it is £120 whilst a full family pass for two adults and up to three youngsters is £190.

Commercial director Rob McLaren said: “We think this represents good value for money for the number of matches that you can see and any income during the close season is very welcome when we have a lot of expenditure in preparing the pitch.”
