Hi: 23° Lo:14° 7 day

ALMOST £3,000 worth of electrical items were stolen during the burglary of a Hagley property in broad daylight on Monday (July 16).
The incident happened at the home in Station Drive between 8.25am and 3.30pm.
After breaking in, thieves took an £800 Apple Mac Air laptop, an £800 Mac Book Pro laptop, a silver iPod worth £100, a black Sony SLR camera worth £400, a Sony PlayStation 3 worth £300 and a Sony ‘Move' controller worth £100. Six PlayStation games, worth £40 each, and a TomTom satnav worth £100, were also stolen.
Det Con Tony Flannagan said: "This was a daytime burglary so it is highly likely someone may have seen the burglars in the area on Monday."
He urged anyone who saw any suspicious activity around Station Drive, anyone who knew the raiders or anyone offered electrical items for sale to contact him immediately on 0300 333 3000 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
