Hi: 16° Lo:4° 7 day

BROMSGROVE'S Waterstone's bookshop is to close.
The last day of trading will be a week on Saturday (July 28) and the closure will see seven jobs affected.
The shop, which is on the High Street, was formerly an Ottakar's store, but became a Waterstones in 2006, when it was taken over by HMV Group.
A Waterstone's spokesperson told The Standard: "It's always our intention, when we have to close a shop, and if the staff want, to relocate them where possible."
He added the staff at Bromsgrove's Waterstone's were currently being consulted.
