THE MOTHER of a 13-year-old Bromsgrove boy has appealed for help in finding his scooter which was stolen from Rubery on Wednesday (July 4).

It was taken from the boot of the family car which was parked on Rea Avenue.

His mum Kelly Turner told The Standard the youngster had saved up his pocket money, birthday money and Christmas cash to pay for the scooter and to customise it the way he wanted it.

"It is his pride and joy and he is devastated it has been stolen from outside our home."

The distinctive scooter has a blue Phoenix deck, blue stripper bars, purple ODI grips, orange wheels and orange deck tape.

The clamp for the bars has been re-engineered so this scooter is easly recognisable.

A reward has also been put up for the return of the scooter.

Anyone who knows of its whereabouts should call Kelly on 07976 544777.
